To differentiate between crocodiles and alligators, you can look at their behavior and appearance. Crocodiles are more aggressive and have a slender, long, and pointed V-shaped snout. Meanwhile, alligators are less aggressive and have rounded, U-shaped snouts. Crocodiles can also grow up to 17 feet in length and two tons in weight, making them longer and heavier than alligators.
