When I say "It's time ~", should I use preposition "for" only after "time"? Is there any other preposition that can come after "It's time ~"?

Yes! If a noun follows, you should use "for" before the noun, and if a verb follows, you should put "to" before the verb. Ex: It's time for dinner! Ex: It's time to cook. Ex: It's time for school. Ex: It's time to go to school.
