"Señorita" is Spanish for the title, miss. This title is used to address unmarried women. "Señora" is the proper title to address married women. Ex: Señorita Johnson will soon become Señora Anderson when she gets married this summer. Ex: My Spanish teacher addressed me as señorita Becca when I took Spanish in school.
