Would the sentence mean the same if I replace "get" with "have" or "take"?

The sentence would be the same if you replaced "get" here with "have", although "have" sounds a little more polite than "get". If you were to replace "get" with "take", however, it would sound a little bit strange because the verb "take" is normally used when you are taking something directly from someone. The man is not holding the cake, so it would sound weird to use "take" in this context.
