student asking question

Can I also say "get back TO the right lane" instead? If possible, what is different between using INTO and TO?

"To" can not be used here because cars drive "inside" of a lane. Therefore, "into" should be used to describe a car changing lanes. "To" is used to describe arriving at a location. "Into" is used to describe arriving inside of a location. Ex: I am going to the park. Ex: I'm going into my apartment to get my wallet.
