Actually, "-pokes" is not a suffix! The only time it appears is in the informal term "slowpoke," which is used to describe people who act or move in a slow or leisurely manner. You cannot use this with other adjectives, like "fast," to create words like "fastpokes," for example. Ex: You're such a slowpoke! We're going to be late if you don't walk faster.
