How is it different between "no" and "none"?

"No" and "none" are fairly similar in meaning, however, are not interchangeable and are used differently. "None" means there isn't any of something. Rachel says "none for me" because she does not want any wine. "No" is used to disagree with something or to decline an offer. Ex: A: Would you like some pie? B: No thank you. Ex: A: Do you have any party ideas? B: None at all, unfortunately.
