Just curiosity, but what's the difference between "sniper" and "sharpshooter"?

A "sniper" is someone who can shoot from a far distance accurately. Snipers stay hidden so that their target doesn't see him or her. A "sniper's" target is usually another person. A "sharpshooter" is very skilled at shooting but doesn't necessarily stay hidden. Ex: Chris Kyle was a famous Navy Seal sniper. Ex: She is a sharpshooter. She loves to hunt and always brings home something.
