"On purpose" means that something was done intentionally or deliberately and it was not an accident. If someone does something "on purpose", it means that they meant to do it or they wanted it to happen. Ex: She wanted to make me upset on purpose. Ex: I didn't hurt him on purpose; it was an accident!
