student asking question

How's it different between "going to be spending" and "going to spend"? I don't see the differences between "going to be -ing" and "going + to-infinitive"

Great question. In general, you can use the "going + to + be + ing" form in the same places where you would use the future progressive "I will be + verb + ing". For example, when the emphasis is on the continuance or progression of action. In this case "be spending" puts more emphasis on the action in progress rather than the action as a singular event. Ex: I am going to fly to New York tomorrow. Ex: I am going to be flying to New York tomorrow.
