"If you will" is a formal expression used after someone has said something in an unusual way and they think it can be challenged because other people might not agree with it. "If you will" is used to ask the other person to consider and agree with what you are saying. Ex: Some may call him a genius, if you will. Ex: Michael Jordan was very good at basketball, the best if you will.
