"Reminisce" has a very particular definition, so synonyms will have a different nuance, but some things you can say that are similar are "look back" and "remember". "Reminisce" means to take time to remember joyful memories, either in your head or discussing with someone else, so you can use "reminisce" to describe doing that. Ex: I was reminiscing yesterday about my childhood when I saw kids playing at the park.
