That is a great question. Actually "take" here is being used in its verb form. We use it in this way when we want to mention something as a particular example of what we are talking about. So, in this case we know that Toronto's Ice Condos are being used as an example of something. Ex: I've been very busy recently. Take last week, I had meetings every night after work, except Friday. Ex: Vegetables help you grow. Take your bother, he's 190cm and he has always loved vegetables.
