Native speaker’s answer

Rebecca

"Indivisible" means unable to separate. If something is "indivisible" you cannot separate, divide, or break it down into parts. The word "indivisible" was used in the United State's Pledge of Allegiance to express that the nation cannot be divided and will always be one unified nation. This word is very formal and not often used in daily conversation. It can however be used in mathematics when referring to numbers that cannot be divided. Ex: Prime numbers like 3 and 7 are indivisible. Ex: Their friendship is indivisible.
