"Lasagna" is traditionally an Italian dish made of layers of thin flat pasta with fillings such as ground meat and tomato sauce and other vegetables, cheese and things such as garlic, oregano and basil. The pasta dish is usually baked in an oven and served in square portions. It is a very popular dish in many places, including America. Ex: I'm making lasagna for dinner. Ex: My favourite dish is lasagna.
