There are different reasons for using "then" at the end of the sentence. It is can be used to agree to something, conclude a conversation, or to link information to something mentioned earlier in the conversation. The following examples demonstrate all three types. Ex: A: Should we meet at noon tomorrow? B: Alright, then. Ex: See you after work, then. For the last case, you can think of it as having a similar meaning to "in that case" or "as a result." When used for this reason, "then" can also be placed at the beginning of a sentence. Ex: A: The housing market isn't great. I'm having trouble finding buyers right now. B: Oh, you're selling your house, then? Ex: Then, go to sleep earlier and you won't be so tired at work.
