student asking question

Generally, does the word "stop" can replace the "station"? Or is it simply called "last stop", because it's the final destination?

Yes! In contexts involving transportation (buses, trains, trams, etc.), the words "stop" and "station" are both used. However, note that a station can be a stop, but not all stops are stations. For example, a bus might let off passengers at various stops (designated spots on along a route for picking up/dropping off passengers), and also alight at different stations along the way (which often connect to other forms of transportations, like subway stations). Ex: We have to ride the train for five stops and then get off at Grand Central Station. Ex: My office is only two bus stops from my house. By subway, it is only one station away.
