What is the difference between "contribute to" and "contribute into"?

"Contribute to" means to give money or time in order to help achieve or provide something. "Contribute into" is not considered grammatically correct. Ex: He contributed money to help the victims of the hurricane. Ex: I would like to contribute my time to volunteering. Ex: Would you like to contribute?
