If you put "actually" at the beginning of this sentence it would sound a little strange. This is because the word "actually" is normally used to state a point that is opposite of the previous point or that is surprising. Since we already know here that he likes the girl because he has implied it, "actually" wouldn't be the best word to use in this case.
