Native speaker’s answer

"Flippin'/flipping" is a slang term used by younger people. It is similar to "freakin'/freaking" and means "very." The speaker says "flipping great" here to mean "really great." Ex: Wow, I just found a hundred bucks on the ground!? Flipping amazing! Ex: Just flipping great. I missed my train and now I'll be late to work.
