To "soar" means more to fly, but more specifically it means to rise swiftly. When we say something "soars" it's because we want to give a nuance that it is increasing, rising, or "flying away" quickly. Saying "your cares will soar away" means that all you worries or complaints will fly away, or leave quickly. Ex: All night long fireworks soared into the sky. Ex: I wish I could soar through the sky like a bird.
