How is it different between "drizzle" and "pour" in this case?

To "drizzle" something is to pour it very lightly. "Pour" is heavier in flow. In terms of the amount of flow, you can imagine it as drizzle < pour. Ex: He drizzled maple syrup over the pancakes. Ex: It's not raining heavily outside. Just a drizzle.
