How "aplenty" and "galore" different? Which one is used more often?
These two words mean the same thing! They both mean that there's an abundance or a lot of something. However, "galore" is probably used more often than "aplenty." At least in American English, "galore" is used more often. I cannot say if "aplenty" or "galore" is used more often in British English. Ex: This candy store is filled with chocolate galore! My favorite! Ex: Don't worry. Food is aplenty in my home.
