Isn't it right to say "But then my 90-page senior thesis came"? Please tell me how this sentence structure possible.

"But then came" and "And then came" are common ways to introduce something that "came" in a more interesting way, and is a correct way of structuring a sentence. Using these phrases puts emphasis on the verb "came". It is also correct to say "But then my 90-page senior thesis came". Ex: I had a lot of plans for today, but then came a horrible headache, so I cancelled them. Ex: I was waiting for the mail to come, and then came a package I was expecting, so I was happy.
