“Stay Tuned” is an expression used very often in TV show auditions.
For example, ”We’ll be back in 30 seconds! Stay tuned!” 📺
It means to “keep paying attention”, to “keep watching a television show” or to “keep listening to a radio broadcast”.
If you say “fix the channel” instead of “stay tuned”, native speakers may think that your TV needs to be fixed! 🤔😂
