Bedeutet hard to make out hier dasselbe wie hard to read or see ?

Ja, das ist die richtige Antwort. Hard to make out bedeutet, dass etwas Hard to make out lesen, schwer zu entziffern oder schwer zu sehen ist. Beispiel: It looked like a plane flying in the sky but it was hard to make out. Beispiel: The card was signed by someone but I couldn't make out the name.
