Native speaker’s answer

Rebecca

"Put up your sword" is an archaic English expression which means to return a sword to its sheath (to stop resisting/fighting). You can get a sense of what it means from the sentence which precedes it, "you have fought long enough." The speaker is encouraging Galadriel to stop fighting, that she has been fighting for a long enough time. Ex: It's time for us to put up our swords. Ex: The only thing that will make me put up my sword is death.
