Yes, that's correct. When we're referring to these specific meals of the day, we don't use "the" in front. The only case we'd use "the" is if breakfast/lunch/dinner is used to represent a specific dish that we are referencing. Ex: Did you eat lunch? (Asking generally) Ex: Did you eat the dinner I left on the table for you? (Speaking about very specific dish of food, so "the" is used)
