As a verb, what does "factor" mean? I thought it's only used as a noun.

As a verb, "factor" means to consider something as part of something. However, here, the phrasal verb "factor [something] in" is used! Which means to include a particular fact or situation when thinking about or planning something else. Ex: We need to factor in the time it takes to cook the food to be ready on time. Ex: I didn't factor Justin in when we were getting movie tickets.
