“In-house counsel” is a term referring to a lawyer that works specifically for an organization as their personal legal counsel. They are only employed by one employer and deal with all the company’s legal matters. “In-house” often precedes titles like this, to show that they are the private or personal employee of an individual or company. Ex: She is my in-house trainer. Ex: My company is great perks. We even have an in-house nutritionist.
