student asking question

Does "got" mean same thing as "made?" Like in this song, he keeps saying "it got me feeling like" or "it got me singing like," but I don't quite get the meaning of it.

"Got" here can be replaced with "have/has" or "made". Using the sentence "Your words have me feeling like an idiot", it would mean that your words have caused me to feel like an idiot. Using the sentence "you've got me singing like ooh la la" would mean that you caused me to sing in a certain wait or to sing a certain song. Ex: This song's got me feeling so happy! Ex: That smell's got me feeling really hungry!
