What's "out of the question" mean and when's it used?

"Out of the question" means that something couldn't be considered a possibility. It's impossible or unlikely! You can use it when something seems unlikely, you have control of the situation and don't want to do it, or because something is out of your control and maybe doesn't seem right- like dating your best friend's sibling. Ex: Going to that university was out of the question because of the high fees. Ex: We are not watching Moana again. That is out of the question. Ex: Dating her was out of the question because of her strict parents.
