To "get together" means to convene, to join to make a bigger group, to meet up. It can also mean to date or get into a relationship together. Ex: I got together with some coworkers for drinks. Ex: He got together with his partner nearly 5 years ago. Ex: Do you guys want to get together for dinner this weekend?
