Good question! Tobacco is the common name for several types of an American plant that contains an addictive substance called nicotine. The leaves of these plants are dried and then, in addition to other chemicals and materials, are created into products for smoking or chewing. Cigarettes are one of the types of tobacco products that are created. Cigarettes are a tobacco product that have relatively lower amounts of tobacco/nicotine; products like cigars are stronger.
