"ability" and "capability", these two words look pretty same and I think have almost same meaning as well. Is there a difference?

You are correct! "Ability" and "capability" can be considered synonyms and are used interchangeably. There is a very slight difference in nuance. "Ability" implies that the task or action has been done before. It is slightly more commonly used for individuals. "Capability" only says that it is possible, it does not imply that there is any experience. It is slightly more commonly used for groups or organizations. Simple examples Ex: She is able to give good presentations. Ex: Our company is capable of competing in more than one market. Complex examples using both expressions Ex: I'm capable of working under pressure, but I don't know if I'll be able to this time. Ex: He has the ability to study hard, so he's capable of passing the test if he studies.
