A "presentation" is a speech or talk explaining or talking about something and is generally around three minutes or longer! Some could be a few hours. They also differ in topics and content. An "announcement" is usually much quicker and is about making something known publicly or formally. It is possible that an announcement can be done through a presentation. Ex: They announced that they're selling the house last night. Ex: He's giving a presentation on motivation. Ex: There was a presentation at the company introducing the new phone model.
