Can I say "on my bed?" instead of "in my bed?"

The context would change slightly! But it could still work. "On my bed" implies that you're on top of your bed but not under the blankets. "In my bed" implies that you're lying on your bed underneath the blankets. In terms of context, being "in" one's bed is the most common in relation to sleeping and sleeping with someone. Ex: I've just been sitting on my bed waiting for Shaun to come home. Ex: I just want to get in bed again. It's so cold outside.
