Here, "yous" is formed with "people around yous," carrying the possessive "s" of "People's" to "yous" It sort of becomes grammatically correct in its own way, even though this is informal and uncommon. If it were written differently, it would look like "the people's lives around you." "Yous" is also sometimes used to refer to the plural of people, which is also informal. Ex: The people next to yous bags were taking up all the space. = The people's bags next to you were taking up all the space. Ex: Are yous going out for dinner? => more than one person.
