A live-action movie has real people and scenes. It mostly uses photography. These days, people use a combination of "live-action" and "animation," also known as CGI, or 'computer-generated imagery', to create characters and scenes within live-action movies. Ex: The scenes in the new Batman movie looked so realistic. I can't believe that was all CGI. Ex: I prefer animations over live-action movies.
