"Et cetera" (or its short form, etc.) is used at the end of a list to indicate that more similar items are included but not mentioned. Ex: I love fruits. Apples, bananas, oranges, et cetera. Ex: I've been to many cities in the US. For example, Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Miami, etc.
