A "docket" is usually a list of legal cases that will go on trial in court. In this case, however, a "docket" just refers to a list of things that need to be addressed. "Docket" is not usually used to mean a "list" unless it is related to the law or legal actions. Ex: There are four new trials that are on the docket and will be in court today. Ex: The judge postponed the cases and put them on the docket.
