Native speaker’s answer

Rebecca

"Form" means "type" or "kind," so you can understand "boycott is a form of protest" to mean "boycott is a type of protest." Ex: I like strawberries in the form of drinks or smoothies. I don't like eating the fruit on its own. Ex: Love comes in many forms.
