As a slang, what's the main difference between "shit" and "bullshit?"

As slang, "shit" can be used as an adjective or to refer to an item, action, or something. "Bullshit" generally means something that's nonsense or, as a verb, to talk foolishly. Ex: I need to organize my house. There's shit everywhere. => random items all over the place Ex: She bullshitted her way through the exam. => she made up what she wrote in the exam Ex: This is such a shit party. => "Shitty" or "shit" can be used here Ex: This news article is a load of bullshit. => it's nonsense
