Here, "recall" means to "remember". If you "recall" something, it means that it could be hidden in your memory, and then you "recall" it and bring it back into your mind. To "recall" can also mean to retract - or "take back" - something. Such as when a company recalls a product from a shop, the item will be removed from the shop. Ex: I'm sorry, I don't recall you ever saying that before. Ex: I can't recall what we spoke about in our last meeting. Can you remind me? Ex: The government recalled a law that was made at the beginning of the year.
