What does this "shut up" mean? I don't think it has nothing to do with shutting one's mouth!

"Shut up" is usually used when you want someone to be quiet, but in this case, Peter Parker says it in a joking way here because he is feeling shy or bashful here. Ex: A: You're the coolest dude I know. B: Shut up, man. Now I feel embarrassed. Ex: Can you shut up? You're being so loud.
