Well, a "bike" could also refer to a "motorcycle," but, generally, a "bike" refers to a "bicycle." And the difference between a "bicycle" and a "motorcycle" is the addition of a motor. A motorcycle doesn't have pedals like a bicycle does. Because of the motor "motorcycles" are much faster than "bicycles." Ex: I put my bike on the bike rack so I can ride it home after school. => bicycle Ex: I really like your motorcycle. Ex: Sweet bike, Harley. => motorcycle
