As a verb, "rerun" means to run or put something on again (a film, show, play, etc.). Thus, as a noun, it usually refers to a movie or show that has been aired again after its original release. You might occasionally see old movies or classic films being shown on tv, years or months after they were originally aired. These are called reruns. Ex: I like watching old reruns of Friends. It's my favorite sitcom. Ex: I like to rerun scenes of my favorite movies. It helps me to memorize the lines.
