Here, "blunt" is an adjective that means straightforward or direct, without making something seem better than it is. It can also mean an unsharp or worn-down edge of a knife or blade or to wear down a blade. Ex: All the knives in the kitchen are blunt. It's so hard to chop vegetables. Ex: She was blunt with me and told me she didn't have any interest in joining the club. Ex: To be blunt, green does not look nice on you.
