Cheetos aren't a negative symbol in America, but he's referring to her becoming lazy while watching television and eating a lot of junk food like Cheetos! He kind of uses "16,000 Cheetos later" as a way to measure time. Ex: I was waiting for my friend outside the shop. Three songs later, she finally came out. Ex: Ben told himself he would only eat one brownie. But a few minutes later, he had eaten a whole tray of them.

Ex: If I teach English overseas, I still have to make sure I'm paying tax to my country. Ex: Do you know what the international tax policies are with immigrating and working remotely?
