What's the main difference between a "manor," a "mansion" and a "house?"

A manor was, historically, a patch of land big enough to support a knight and his family on the profits of farming it. Meanwhile, a mansion is a large, posh residence standing alone in its own grounds. They generally have less land surrounding them than manors. Many mansions were originally manors, but there are also plenty that never were. Lastly, a house is a home that people live in. Ex: The lord lives in a manor surrounded by 100 acres of farmland. Ex: My rich friend lives in a huge mansion with 15 bedrooms. Ex: I live in a house with my parents and siblings.
